My Brand - Initial Idea

NoFog

To what industry does your brand belong (Perfume, Beauty, Apparel, Beverage, Electronics, Housewares, Sports/Outdoors, Luggage/Travel)?

The industry that my brand belongs to apparel, in the eyeglass wear department.

What is the main product or service of your brand?

The main concept behind the product is to produce quality eyeglass wear that can be bought at an affordable price point, offering a variety of designs and being able to make the lenses fog-free.

What would be the motivation of your brand (does it respond to a need or desire)?'

The motivation of my brand is based on my first-hand personal experience on being a eyeglasses user and how much of a hassle it is to have fog accumulate on the lenses, similarly to the way when water is on the lenses and is a disturbance to commuting through the rain. Eyeglasses over time can be expensive as depending on the user's daily lifestyle, they can come costly if they're constantly being broken or lost, which is we want to target the affordable price point for everyone to enjoy.

What are three perceptions of your brand (Use emotional adjectives. For example,  “sporty” or “delicious” or “exciting”)

The three perceptions of my brand are stylish, aesthetic and efficient.

What are three values of your brand (Use expressions. For example, “good value” or “respect for people” or “customer service”)

The value of my brand are offering exceptional customer service, being affordable and improving the experience with using eyeglass wear.

What is the look/aesthetic of your brand (identify a specific style using the resource links
        1. 20th and 21st Century Design
        2. Met Museum > Art through History and Cultur

The aesthetic of my brand is a mix of Post-Modern Style and Swiss/International Style.

Put yourself in the role of the client talking to an agency. What main message would you want them to understand about your brand (similar to “love people, love beer”)?

"Explore the World without a Hassle, One Look at a Time"

What are the demographics of your target audience (Google search “demographics of Nike products”)?

The demographics of my target audience that only 59% of people ages 25-39 wear corrective lenses, while 93% of people between the ages of 65 and 75 wear corrective lenses. The proportion of wearers rapidly increases after the age of 45. This jump in the numbers can be attributed to presbyopia.

Where and how would your target audience experience your brand (tv commercial, print ad, Tik-tok, etc.)?

My target audience is essentially bringing easy access through mall kiosks, pop-ups in sport events due to the durability of the eyeglasses wear, online through YouTube ads, appearing on all social media platforms and overall expanding to the young adults that are more probable to purchase online or look further into it.

Why did you choose this idea? How does it correspond to your own personal values?

I chose this idea due to it being a personal problem that I believe everyone around the world also experience as well due to climate changing constantly. It corresponds to my personal values since in the past, glasses used to be limited, where affordable glasses were too cheap in quality and expensive glasses being better in quality but a high price point to even purchase, which is why I believe having the mere standard vision for everyone should be available to everyone and not a luxury.
