Photoshop Blend Modes 3/27

 Reflection:
I have been familiar with Digital Editing Programs such as PaintTool SAI, which is the most similar to the Photoshop layout and editing tools. They even seem to have similar shortcuts for both and it felt quite natural to use blend modes. Although I did learn some new riffs such as the Ctrl + J, to duplicate the layer quickly. I would always manually duplicate it and I didn't mind doing so but using the shortcut makes the process so much faster. I also learned selecting multiple objects or images to move them all together by using Ctrl + Drag which helped a lot to make sure I was able to keep everything together on the canvas. But the ultimate riff would be the Ctrl + Click on the layer that you want to utilize to select every pixel on the layer which makes checking any errors so much easier and such a breeze. I would definitely use these more often to make sure all my layers are precise, especially in a drawing setting, where it can be easy to lose track of what's on what layer. Overall, I feel very motivated to learn new things in Photoshop as I see myself using it more often and it would help to elevate my digital drawing journey as a self-taught artist and just drawing in my free time with my cool new riffs to make the process less long.
