Webinar Blog Reflection 5/11
Feedback on Finn Partners Webinar:
Tahjib :
While listening and partly viewing his work on the Smart Board, I realized how low he was speaking and it was difficult to follow along with what he wanted to present. I believe he should've removed the mask and sat properly while speaking with the designers. I also found that he should've elaborated upon asking what could he improve and minor questions, as well as checking up with the designers if they were following along with the topics presented. As a previous presenter myself, I also realized there was not enough clarity with the whole concept of Rhodium, I was confused at first since I didn't understand what his company was based upon until Tahjib showed the final product. Overall though, I see he put all his effort in presenting and I do appreciate that he had the confidence to do so.
Alex:
The designers stated how Alex should've removed the bear and that the border of his final Brand Ad which I believe was really good criticism as a designer but I really liked his presenting and the clarity in his explanation of his concept of his company, I also liked the way he attempted to fully present well his brand how the logo made sense with his brand. However, I also realized how much help he needed in terms of knowing how to continue with what he wanted to elaborate upon his brand. I also believe he should've asked a few more questions towards the designers to develop that sense of communication. Overall, I believe that Alex has a lot of potential and a great start on being able to present, he just needs a little more self-confidence in himself.
Rafid:
Rafid’s work is very much indeed clean and neat. I like the way he took the minimalistic route as it makes the logo irony comparing it to his company of shoe customizing. His presentation was a bit bland and I believe just as Tahjib, they both needed to remove the face masks to be able to communicate their ideas fully. However, I really liked his work and how the colors matched up with his brand. I also feel his presentation was pretty fully laid out to be able to execute almost perfectly, he needed a little push as well.
Bryan:
His presentation was a bit hard to understand at times. His voice lowered at certain points and became nervous which made it complicated at times in terms of presenting his logo development. His performance was almost on point, it was straightforward and went on key with the rest of the logo development. The only concern would be the nervousness that can interfere with the way that his full presentation would go.
