Brand Brochure Rough - 06/13

Reflection

This rough is by far the most accurate I've been able to execute my vision to reality. I love the fact that I've been able to work out my technical struggles with ease due to bumping into them along the way. Due to the difficulties popping up frequently, I've been able to to go through them a lot faster and the design came out sleek and friendly with all the images added. To be able to add the images into the format was copy and pasting them but I've been able to screenshot them to have a png format of the images. I realized also that my fonts made a lot more sense having the pair to be Bebas Neue with Corbel which in fact gives my brand that clean look, which is what I am looking for. I also found for me the difficult part now is filling up my brochure with text that will be effective in explaining my brand in a small brochure. I may decrease the font sizing in my next brochure rough next year, but for now I've decided to just stick with using placeholder text to get a feel as to how many words I can fill those spaces with. I also found that using the contrast between circular and straight edges was the way to go as the mood while viewing the brochure is straightforward and in a way unique to utilize the shapes that way. Overall, I feel satisfied with using the designer's common sense feel and the grid to understand my placements in order to be effective in highlighting the most important parts or messages I need to convey.
